She is honored and delighted to have her play selected for the inaugural year of the Broadway Bound Theatre Festival and is grateful for all of the support and guidance they have provided!
"Sympathy In C" will open Friday, August 11th at 12:30PM, and run Sunday, August 13th at 6:30PM, and Wednesday, August 16th 7:30PM.
"Sympathy In C" is written by Suzanne Mernyk and presented by Broadway Bound Theatre Festival.
Eight voices, spoken and instrumental, intertwine to expose an assault from the unimaginable - a diagnosis of cancer and the threat of terrorism, a growing cancer in the fabric of society. Both seem to lurk around every corner. This powerful, memorable and moving play with music dares the characters to face life’s blows with anger, hope, courage, humor, grace, surrender and sometimes … sympathy. Unusual staging, superb acting and a riveting script are underscored by a live cello and viola to assert the never ending pulse of love and life.
